Red Team / Blue team is a subset of Wargaming designed to help you think like your competitor. Two teams are formed. The Blue Team is your own company; the Red Team is your competitor. In this workshop, we focus on one issue, for instance, a forthcoming new product introduction at a well-known company. After an introduction into the methodology, we get to know the Game Book, giving background and texture to the problem at hand. Then each group has a go a trying to find the best solution to trump the competitor. This technique, as you will discover by actively participating in one of the two teams, helps sharpen your appreciation of your competitor.
