Was sind meine Aufgaben?

  • Kontinuierliches Screening von Wettbewerbern in den Märkten Gebäudetechnik und Smart Grid
  • Sammlung und Aufbereitung von Wettbewerberdaten einschliesslich deren Verifizierung und Verteilung im CI-Portal MONITOR
  • Durchführung von Markt- und Wettbewerbsanalysen sowie M&A Screenings
  • Unterstützung des Strategie-Prozesses mittels Auswertungen und Analysen auf Division-Ebene
  • Erstellung von Intelligence Briefings und Durchführung von Wettbewerberworkshops
  • Pflege und Aktualisierung der CI-Tools (z.B. Wettbewerberprofile, M&A-Database, Financial Benchmarking)


Was bringe ich mit?

  • Abgeschlossenes Studium der Elektrotechnik oder in Betriebs- und Volkswirtschaft
  • Mindestens 3 bis 5 Jahre Berufserfahrung im Bereich Competitive Intelligence / Market Research Methoden/Tools erforderlich
  • Ausgeprägte analytische Fähigkeiten in Kombination mit vernetztem Denken und Handeln
  • Affinität hinsichtlich der Themenfelder Elektrotechnik und Energieübertragung ("smart grid")
  • Kundenorientierte Persönlichkeit mit Initiative und Networking Skills im internationalen Umfeld
  • Fundierte Kenntnisse im Projektmanagement
  • Gute MS-Office Kenntnisse (insbesondere Excel, Powerpoint)
  • Sehr gute Deutsch- und Englischkenntnisse in Wort und Schrift

Daniel Swarovski Corporation AG, an attractive work place with global Headquarters in Männedorf near Zurich with about 500 employees providing services to 28.000 employees and managers worldwide is looking for a Senior Market Insights Manager.

In this position you will report directly to the Director Corporate Consumer & Market Insights and your main duties will be the following

  • Develop and deliver a portfolio of market insights that involves competitive intelligence analyses and ad-hoc market overviews for business clients    
  • Manage the consultants/vendors that contribute to the market measurement tools within Swarovski in order to continuously improve the consistency and standardization of market measurements within the organization
  • Improve and sustain the competitive intelligence network and tools within Swarovski, especially in the direction of improving the efficacy and benefit of competitive intelligence tools already embedded in the organization
  • Foster the awareness of foresights within the organization, subsequently leading to the launch of scenarios analyses and other foresight frameworks that will gradually build up the foresight competence in the organization

  • Master’s degree in Economics or Business Administration
  • At least 5 years professional experience in a consulting role towards the business
